TM for Community College Students
This study investigated the potential benefits of Transcendental Meditation (TM) for community college students. The results showed that students with higher stress levels were more likely to be interested in learning about TM, and that TM may be a better fit for community college students than mindfulness meditation because it requires less time commitment and effort to learn and practice.
Here are some of the potential benefits of TM for community college students:
- Reduce stress
- Improve academic performance
- Promote overall well-being
Here are some of the challenges to TM adoption among community college students:
- Lack of awareness
- Cost
- Time commitment
Overall, the results of this study suggest that TM may be a beneficial intervention for community college students. However, more research is needed to confirm these findings and to identify the best way to promote TM adoption among this population.
