Limitations of a Study on the Relationship Between Public Relations Practitioners and Journalists

This study examined the relationship between public relations practitioners and journalists in the state of Florida. The study was qualitative in nature, and the researcher interviewed 12 senior practitioners and journalists. The study found that the relationship between practitioners and journalists is complex and often adversarial. However, the study also found that there is a great deal of respect between the two groups.

The study is limited by its qualitative nature. The results cannot be generalized to all practitioners and journalists. However, the study does provide valuable insights into the relationship between these two important groups.

It is important to study the relationship between public relations practitioners and journalists because they play a vital role in the dissemination of information. The way that these two groups interact can have a significant impact on the way that news is reported and consumed.

Future research should be quantitative in nature and should include a larger sample of practitioners and journalists. This would allow for a more generalizable understanding of the relationship between these two groups.
