Handwriting Fluency and Legibility Assessment Tool
This tool can be used to track a child’s progress in these areas before and after an intervention.
The tool assesses the child’s ability to hold a pencil, maintain a good sitting posture, steady the paper, form letters correctly, join letters correctly, and write with a consistent rhythm.
The answers to these questions can be recorded in the table provided. The table has three columns: “Before Intervention”, “After Intervention”, and “Area of Difficulty”.
The assessor can use the table to track the child’s progress and identify any areas that need further support.
