Control of Records
The clause 4.2.4 of ISO 9001:2015, Control of Records, requires organizations to establish and maintain a process for controlling records.
Records are documents that provide evidence of conformity to requirements and the effective operation of the quality management system. They must be identified, classified, and maintained in good and secure conditions throughout their retention period. Records must also remain legible, readily identifiable, and retrievable.
